i have an older analog throttle #lgb 5012 i am looking for help on what type of transformer that will be able to work with this. on the bottom it says max 14v=1amp. in the lgb catalog it says not to use the transformer 50110 with older analog throttles. any suggestions?

Hi there Rusty,

Since it is only rated at 14VDC 1 Amp you could use one of the DC Wall-plugin units. The most common rating for that size (that I have come across) is 12V DC 1Amp. Check with an electronic supply store (the industrial kind), if all else fails you could try Radio Shack.

BTW that rating is just enough for a starter set!
