Somehow I doubt that, Troy. I think it will be very interesting to see what different cultures consider "whimsey". It's not just elves and unicorns. I think mine is trans-cultural, but you will have to wait until the 12th to find out, moohahaha! moooohahahah!!!!!!!!

John, as far as the boat goes, I have done some in the past and the best way is to copy the original method, lay down a keel, make ribs to shape the hull, then plank it. Troy's suggestion of balsa is an excellent one. I disagree on the best result method- I found it helpful to burn and pillage after killing a few sea monsters before I build, but I never could get the fat lady to sing..........................

The Fat Lady only sings at the end Jack.
I think that is a result of her not being 'pillaged' [:I]

You may be on your own folks.
This place has become a bit of a politically correct nightmare.
TJ.If your 'thing' and I use the term loosely and in a nice way is not prototypical and to scale, then I'm afraid that you will have to be terminated. This is even worse that 'Troy's Amazing Coffee Shop Crusade'
Mine is not to scale.Does not adhere to DCC standards and does not represent any real vehicle.I am very bad and I really am sorry.

( but it works and the kids bloody love it.!!)
I'll e-mail the results and pictures)

Umm, errr, ehh, well, it all kinda depends on exactly what "prototype" you refer to now doesn't it????? I'd sure hate to be "terminated" or even "EXTERMINATED" for not adhering to a "scale" when one cannot agree to what "scale" G even is. I can gurantee one thing, it sure the H[censored]ll ain't politicaly correct! I thought that was the object of the build off- to make a goofy vehicle that we otherwise wouldn't normaly do. Oh well, that's what I've done, and I'm having fun doing it! I think you're gonna love it- rules be hanged!
