MTH DCS
Posted by dukebasketballer` on Monday, September 26, 2005 7:18 PM
Hi,
I am a g-scale enthusiest who recently purchases and mth dash-8 and a DCS system. MTH claims you can run non Proto-sound 2.0 engines on the variable outputs, but the variable will only control AC power, and my non MTH trains run off of DC power. Does any one know of a way for me to run non proto-sound 2.0 engines using the variable thing?
Thanks,
David

David,
The variable DCS only works on AC.
I run the rest of my trains with Aristo on-board receivers and they can be run at the same time with the MTH/DCS locos, all with DC constant track power.
