Very sad news
Posted by toenailridgesl on Thursday, September 1, 2005 5:21 AM
It is with the utmost regret & saddness that I have to inform the readers of the LargeScale community that poster 'Tiny' (GR forum 'nvtiny') aka Wayne Pearce in Nevada, passed away suddenly yesterday. He was only 57.
Tiny was a regular on chat on the LargeScaleCentral website & had been a good friend of a lot of us old-timers since the old days of LSOL.
Tiny, I hope you find yourself in the type of heaven that has unlimited 45mm track, lots of rolling stock, no dirty rails & permanent sunshine. I'll miss you.

I'm very sorry to hear this, we will miss him.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

I did not know Wayne, but my condolences go out to his family. It is sad to lose a member of this hobby and especially one so young.

Phil,
If there is some way you can pass this thread on to his family please do so. We offer our condolences here. Take care...Brian.

Hi Phil
I never knew the gentalman but this is sad news.
I understand it from one of the 16mm lads that he has what I think a fitting memorial that he will be present on many 1:20.3 railways as one of the figures.
There can I think be no greater memorial to a railway modeller than
to have some one create a figure of you so Phil he will indeed
have unlimited tracks and lots of rolling stock.
regards John
