Today I bought some time by showing her a "cute" caboose I would build. It's been nearly five years since I started my railway and I have yet to make a building. Start a simple structure while you build your item of rolling stock. When you break from the caboose project, do a bit more work on the building. Thus, the wife will see you figuratively "laying tracks" in her direction whilst you reach your goal.

Capt Carrales
