I have a Bachmann 2-4-2 Columbia locomotive. It looks like an axle sheared off at the gear
Does anyone know of a fix?
Thanks

Replacement wheelsets for locomotives?
Man, did something change in the past week?
Wheelsets don't include that gear. You need a motor/gearbox assembly, last information I had was selling you that part would get the employee terminated.
Seriously.
Hopefully THAT has changed.
Your best bet is to contact Bachmann Service, see if they will provide you with the motor/gearbox/driverset, if not, ask what it would cost to send the loco back so they could install a new chassis (they did have those last time I had a failure).
If you bought it new, probably $25.

The logical thing to do with Bachmann Equipment is to Reinstall it in your Loco, Box it up and send it to Bachmann Repair Service. It will come back good as new. But! they want the whole unit to acertain why there was a faulure. This is a fool proof way to repair your Machine. Good Luck,John

Thanks for the help.
I sent the loco on May 6 and received it back almost good as new today.
