I am thinking of purchaing an aristo mallet. I want to know if it is a good buy because i am 14 and want to know from people that have been in the hobby long if itis a good option

If your 14 and can afford a mallet, your doing very well.
I love mine and thats coming from a diesel guy. I took it to Kansas this past weekend and it ran fine. I'm on board battery tho. But the tighter curves seemed to be fine. I did derail on one switch that I should not have tried it on..
Go to Aristo site. I have many photos of my mallet on the different threads.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?
