With the trackage in the main terminal yard finally completed we finally got some operation on the Port Orford Coast RR. With Locolincs in hand Larry Jackson and Terry Foley concentrate on the job at hand.
Raised benchwork sure makes operation and maintenance a lot easier although of course it entails a bit more work initially.

Troy,
So far just the main yard/engine terminal (56 feet length) has been completed. The railroad will extend about 250 feet, all raised and is point to point. I find it more satisfying to mostly just work on one section at a time so I can have some completeness at least as far as I've gone. I hope to begin on the next 24 foot section in the next month or so. Sort of like working on a continuous module.
By the way, the fellow in red in the background is from the UK. A truly fine representative of the island across the pond!

Well Richard. You have a lot of work ahead of you,but if it continues in the same standard it will be well worth it.
It makes sense to finish each section as you go.Something I struggle to achieve.Thankyou for the information.Quite like to see some more photos.
