Sound decoder installation

Where can I get wiring diagram on an exact install of a soundtraxx sound decoder along with a zimo motor decoder. Its seems fairly simple but for my first attempt it would be nice to have a set of instructions.

[#welcome] Andy, Have you searched for either of the two manufactures Websites? I myself do not have experience with either but someone will be along shortly who does I'm sure. What is the manufacture of the engine in question? This may help others.

Forgot to ask, is this installation in a "G" Scale engine?

I found Zimo's website, I had not heard of them before, I found it a little hard to navigate around.

Arre you talking about the SoundTraxx Sierra for G scale? If you purchase one of these, it comes with an instruction booklet that explains things in pretty much detail. As far as using it with a Zimo decoder, check the SoundTraxx Web site, go to the Sierra area, and look for Technical Note #7, which gives you wiring diagrams for the Sierra and a Zimo MX655/N decoder.
