Thank you, it's been fun. I have a lot more ideas, but it may be getting too hot to work outside for a while. I'm just enjoying it as it is for now.

I am with you on your first point. On your second point, just getting trains to run without stalling was sufficient drama for about the first four years! Add in some toddlers and their not always well-behaved frieds, and I have had drama-a-plenty! I'll live vicariously through you, for the moment!

Your murals are really helping to create an illusion of space. Maybe you could consider a few more big boulders to continue to block the view planes and enhance the illusion? It works in our aquariums and in the space-constrained Triple O.

Thanks, Eric! All great ideas ! I have some open areas that I occasionally fill with buildings, I keep them inside. I plan to build more structures, especially of the Swiss architectural styles. The fence posts that I cut before look like I can " fake" a hotel, or historical structure. I see the tower from the " Grand Hotel" in Interlaken in the fence post ! Not exact, but could probably make something passable for a background. When I fill in the structures, I can see how much space remains for my fake landscape boulders, and possibly purchase more.

The area in the center is a " duck under". I may actually have to pony up for rocks to cluster around the concrete footings.
Completing this will be phase one for this railroad.
No laughing here. I think it looks great. Can a locomotive accidentally run off the high end of the track?
Yes, running the cog railway requires concentration, and no distractions.
I also have to make sure the " momentum " setting is turned off on the transformer.
