I saw this on my facebook feed last week that GR was giving away 20 of the 20th anniversary garden railways LGB boxcars. This week it is a used USAT S4. The link to follow for the rules goes no where. I did not click directly on the link fearing it was a scam but instead cut and pasted it. Is this a scam and if it is not how does one enter the raffle?
This is NOT a scam, but we gave away four boxcars, not 20. We are cleaning out our offices and decided to have some giveaways on Facebook. The engine is the current giveaway, and there may be more! Classic Toy Trains is also giving away some items on Facebook.
You enter by leaving a comment on Facebook. If you win, you need to send Garden Railways a Facebook message with your mailing address.

Thanks Rene. I clicked on the comments and saw a bunch of fellow Gscalers that I correspond with so I went ahead and entered. One can never be too careful online with all the scams and there was a lot of junk attached to the address which is sometimes a problem. I'm gonna cross my fingers for luck.
So what happens when you do not do facebook ?
Join Facebook Sean. Along with GR mag there are various groups on there like G Scale Swap and Shop and G Scale Trains. Several guys from LSC are on there.

That's too bad about this being a GR Face' exclusive ... when corp. entities do this, I just exercise a personal option --- black mark against them. :)
I already have 2.5 email addys and at least 8 g-gauge flavoured forums I visit .. I/we definitely don't need Face' and their tag-a-long probs' !
