Tam Valley 5 Amp DCC Booster Question
Posted by John G on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 9:41 AM

In Kevin Strong's February 2016 article on mating the Tam Valley booster with the AirWire Convertr he states "both take power from the 14.8V battery".  Does this mean there is just the single +/- wire from the battery with two +/- pigtails, one to the booster and one to the Convertr?  Or are they in series with one first?  Or does it matter?  Thanks.  John

each is powered from the battery, both need 14.8.

series would make no sense each unit would then get 7.4 volts.
