hehehe Bill, nice, helps to show the progress of the layout, my outdoor RR still constists of a weedy patch of land were supposed to put a studio onto. A video would only show a terrific progression of different weed growing dying and growing back.[;)]

Bill mate all garden Railways are an odyssey, they are never finished, cost more than you thought and didn't quite turn out how you envisaged it to be.

Victor, Ian, Peter, best wishes to you guys for an enjoyable holiday season.

Seven seasons have now gone by since I went outdoors to establish my Subumbra Garden Railway. My intention has been to keep it from growing too large to the point where it would become a maintenance headache, but at the same time making it of interest to me and visitors.

This past season I expanded my curves to eight-foot diameter. The biggest thing I operate is an Annie, but sometimes a friend might bring a large locomotive while visiting, so I wanted to be a good host.

This winter I'll be adding a couple of structures, probably a pool hall and store where pork is sold. A longer range project will be a glass works, a typical industry in South Jersey in the old days.

Ian, here's my graveyard as featured in my Halloween shot relating to astral photography. The tombstones are by Lemax.

I'd like to see a shot of your graveyard and tombstones when you get a chance.

Yeah Matt, I've seen a couple of garden railways that got beyond management because they got too big. Like they say about the Sands Casino in Atlantic City, "Smaller is Friendlier."
