Installing sound magnets on LGB track

Hi, a newbie here. I just got my first LGB train and track and need some help. How do you install sound activation magnets on the LGB track?

Welcome!

For large scale subjects such as this, your best bet is to post in the Garden Railways general discussion forums.

However, I work with both HO scale and G scale, including LGB. If you are refering to the LGB sound magnets that look like a black rectangle with a small smooth strip on one side, those clip in between the rails and ties. You have to use a little bit of force to clip them in. The magnet is hidden under the smooth strip. Depending on wich way you put it in the track, the locomotive will make either the wistle blow or the bell sound.

Hope this answers your question! Feel free to ask for clarification if you need to

As said above, they snap in with a bit of force. I would suggest wearing a good pair of leather gloves, as I have bruised my thumb a few times.
