Hi, i have been a member for some time now, and i have always wondered how you receive a star, after how many responces? Also when do you find out? like does it just show up when you enter your personal page? Also what is the color status, and the number of stars mean?

Just wondering? So if anyone w/ a star could tell me i would apreciate it.

Read the Frequently Asked Questions and you will see where the stars come from. Please don't get carried away, though, just in a quest for stars by posting non-sensical topics or answers. After you hang around here for a few months, you'll soon realize that those stars don't really mean much except being an ego builder.

You get one Star at 50 posting, 2 stars at 100 posting, 3 star at 500 posting, 4 stars at 1,000 posting and 5 stars at 2,000 posting.

They come automatic. The forum software keeps track of the number of posting you make.

Kim I am watching you and any more of that I will come down the telephone line and rip your bloody arms off. Did you get Graham Bond over there as well.

Seriously I agree that the system for allocating stars isn't correct and i don't even know what they are really; but it should somehow reflect what you have done in Garden Railways and by what i have observed, really only Marty and Larry are in the top grade as far as this is concerned.

Possibly before you go past two stars you should send a photo and details of your layout and take Rene out to dinner.
