Hi all
Recieved a second hand Lionel large scale caboose today.
After geting over the fact it only has the freight door on one side I realised my search for a bullion van / Pay car may be over any one know what these looked like and have any kit bash sujestions to achieve one.
apart from the obviouse get rid of the bidcage look out( cupola I think you in the US would call it)

I found one picture of a pay car at the photowest.org but it would be more of a bash of a passenger car than a caboose bash.

Here is another I got from a Google search of pictures

Hi whiterab
From your pictures that would apear to be the case however the Lionel caboose does have one feature that makes sence for the type of car I am after it only has a freight door on one side bashing a roof to fit could get interesting though.
regards John
