Forum Questions
Posted by Canam1 on Thursday, February 13, 2014 12:35 PM
Hello, I know this is probably the wrong area to post this so please bear with me, but being new to the forum and hunting around the forum site did not bring me any answers. First off how long to I have to wait until my posts do not have to go through a moderator? I have posted a couple of times now and yes, I am a real person and not some machine... Second, how do I get the rich text editor to show when I create a new thread? Or is this another item that is shut down for newbies that are being moderated? I would like to get help with some issues I am having with getting G scale parts and need to add some photos. Thanks in advance Mark

With your list of problems, I'm thinking there is a bit of incompatibility within your computer. The following examples are fro my own experience. Windows 8 IE10, everything worked. Win8.1 & IE 11 nothing on this fourm works. Win 8.1 & Chrome, just fine. I would suggest trying a different browser. The failure of your posts showing up has nothing to do with the forum rules, as long as respectful language is used and no attempt to use forum for profit.

Thank you for replying. I am using windows 7 with internet explorer 11. Your reply got me thinking so I went in internet explorer tools and added trains.com to be shown in compatibility view. How about that, things are showing up now and appear to be working. Thanks again. Mark

Tom is right. First, try another browser.

It should take only a few posts before you're not moderated anymore.
