Somehow I've managed to break the number 1 button on my T9000 throttle. This means I can't change addresses. I can't reprogram a loco either. I'm stuck running the loco I was last running and of course I spun the gear on that loco. I will be buying a new throttle from CVP but have to wait until they come back to work on Monday. Is there any work-around for getting to throttle memory that will allow me to change the engine address? Unfortunately all of my decoders have a "1" in the address.
Help!
Rex
Rex,
Sorry, I can't help with your T5000 problem because I've never had anything like that happen.
Do you have any type of backup throttle at all, such as an older RF1300 you could use?
Obviously I need a backup. I'll have one soon but not soon enough.
have you tried to open the case and push the button???
Dave
The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.
I have opened the case as far as getting to the batteries. It's all on a PCB with no room to work so I'll send it back for repair after my replacement comes in. Looking on the bright side the kids are still having fun with it even thought I can only run one engine.
My replacement throttle came in. Only 3 hours late so I could only run one train when the women's group arrived. I did have the on-train video working so all was not lost. I've already programed the new throttle for all my engines and have bench checked them. Will run them tomorrow. CVP gave me an RMA number so will get the old throttle sent back to them for repair.
