Phil: Thanks from the GR staff
Posted by Rene Schweitzer on Monday, August 23, 2004 11:40 AM
Phil,

I see you're conducting a scratchbuilding class. This is wonderful, and I want you to know we appreciate your efforts! [:D] Building structures is something we receive lots of requests for--and this will be helpful for me (to refer folks to) and the other members of this forum (to learn new techniques).

Thank you, thank you!

You're welcome, Rene. I get a lot of pleasure out of documenting these projects. So much so, you got a desk for me in Milwaukee? [:D] I work cheap!
As soon as we're done with this building I'm going to build a small caboose from GR plan# 63, then am open to suggestions for another structure, this time in traditional wood. You want a mag article?[?]

Phil,

You can share my desk here! I'll give you all the free magazines and books you'd like. [:p][:D]

Seriously, have you approached Marc Horovitz about writing an article (or more)?

Rene, I have to ask.

Is the Bob Treat in the January issue my boyhood friend from Rye, NY?
He attended Rye High School and Amherst University.
