In the current issue of Garden Railways (April 2012), There is an ad for Watts Train Sales , saying that it has been dissolved. Note that it says 'Sales'. But does that mean that Watts Train Shop is gone?

I've never dealt with either one, but don't think Watts Train Sales is the same as Watts Train Shop.
The Watts Train Shop web site is still up and running, and makes no mention of their going out of business.
I also just noticed that a Watts Train Shop advertisement pops up periodically in the right-hand column on this web site, so they are obviously still in business.
They have a toll-free 800 number, so why don't you call them to confirm the information in the magazine and on their web site ?
Watts is still alive and well! It's only a name change. I confirmed this a couple of weeks ago via Dean Bennett, our advertising manager.

On a recent trip (Oct 2011) to Indianapolis, we drove to Zionsville to visit the Watts store. We had been there on previous trips and enjoyed looking at all the equipment. This time the door was unlocked but the place was mostly empty and no one was around. A sign said that the property, which appears to be a nursery, was for sale. We left without seeing anyone and wondered the same thing. Is this the same place?
Jim
Maybe this will explain the nursery:

St Aubin also started out as a plant nursery that added trains as an after-thought. They have now closed up shop as far as trains are concerned.
