well the cabin made it back finally, If any would like to see pictures let me know and I will e-mail them to you. Keep in mind it was built under the "schools" time table. We have a combined time of 5 hours in itI would have much rather have done a few thing differently. The cedar shakes were hand split though. All the log were cut by hand by my 11yr old daughter with a coping saw, I notch them using a miter box(powered). The chinking or crack filler is joint compound for drywall, this is one thing I would change and was only done due to time restraints. I would probably use masonry mortar for outside durability. All and all a fun learning experence for my daughter and I.
