I was just wondering what the minimum radius of track is for the Bachmann Mogul?

Which one? The little Industrial one that's supposed to be re-issued next month will do R-1s....

The bigger Spectrum one is something like R-3?

Hi    If you are talking about a 4-6-0  I use are R3 curves giving an 8FT  circole  this gives the loco a free run smaller radius makes wheels screem

Supposedly the Spectrum Mogul WILL do 5' dia curves, but a small plastic piece on the bottom needs to removed first, otherwise 6.5' dia. is minimum unmodified. This is a fairly big engine so wider curves would look better. Best to check Bachmanns website forum for the best answers.

Is the Bachmann 4-4-0 about the same?

I'm not sure, I read that some are using 5' dia curves but its not great on them, 6.5' dia also is stated minimum for the 4-4-0
