When I worked as a Navy Contractor at the Naval Postgraduate School Supply Warehouse in Monterey my crew and I were building a small G Gauge railroad on a table in one warehouse and a HO table top railroad in another warehouse.  The work was done entirely during our breaks and lunch times.  The space they took up was dead space.  The intent was to finish them and dontate them to local needy childrens organizations.  However, the Navy Supply Officer told my boss to get them the heck out of the buildings.  Thats after she told me how wonderful they were and oowed and aweeed all over them.  Beware---some management types don't like people like us.
