At the start of this season I found my heavyly painted wood bridge warped, cupped and chacked, totaly unusable. So I started looking around my stuff and found a Foam bridge that was two short but would fill the gap till I could build a better bridge. At first I tryed to extend the 2Ft foam bridge with two leftover 2-track portals this went noware fast. So I was guleing the first portal back togeather and then the Idea hit me I put the two portals side-by-side.WelI was still short I needed a 1.25 more. After mesureing twice each leg was 4.5 inch's to long. That became my spacer. So one side of the bridge was completed. I ordered 2 more Portals and after about 60 days they came in. This is the end result::::::::
The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.
Wow 60 days! Who did you order from?
Looks good
From my LHS, It seamed like forever, but it was worth the wait.

That looks nice! In the February 2010 issue of GR, there was an article about how to make your own foam bridges for $10. - Peter

I’m in the process of building a new extension and will need a curved viaduct. Looks like this could be the answer. What did you use for the deck? Nice work Dave.
Have fun, Rob
I used some s4s redwood , they also make a single track portal thats 12 wide by 14.5 tall that would even be better.
