Some recent shorty projects
Posted by vsmith on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 11:10 PM

Some recent shorty projects, all based on recycling an uber-bad cheeser xmas train I made the bad mistake of buying on a whim. Sorry no before pics

Cut down caboose underway:

Used the tender chassis for this gondola:

The engine cab got used with this Stomper drive to get MOW #2:

For Mik, the engine, all balsa wood and scrap ;)

HHHHEEEEE'''''SSSSS BACK! Seriously nice job on the bashes their, they look great. What kind of motor block did you use for that engine, it doesn't look like a Mack. - Peter

Vic,

Love your work.  On the same theme, that is, minimum outlay, I took a pair of HLW flatcars and covered them in old fence palings and coffee stirrers, suitably distressed.

Before and after.

The master of tiny strikes again. Well done my friend. Think I saw your "signature" link and pin, "pin box".
