Would you support a movement in G Scale to standardize?

Add in a motor, electronics, and running gear plus thirty years of inflation and you have some idea of the cost to get ready for production of a locomotive. Then you have to worry about whether or not the thing will sell well enough to recover your set-up costs and hopefully produce a profit. <br /> <br />This is not a hobby for LGB, Bachmann etc. it's a buisness and as a business they must show a profit or go out of business.
