Diner thoughts please

Hi all
After the descusion on the oval yard office and egg liner on the general
descusion group.
The thought occured that a diner/coffee kiosk should be possable using
the eggliner body which might make an interesting little feature that doesn't take up a lot of space.
any one got any thoughts on how to go about it or better still done one,
and able to tell me the parts of what else would be required to make it look right.

Oooo, that sounds like a great project...still, yet, beyond my skills and means. A diner made out of a passenger coach. Hummmm....I would say, use a Bachman coach since it is 1/20.3 and, if you are using 1/24 scale, you could do a "forced perspective thing" with the added plus that the Bachmann coach would be just that much bigger. (more to work with might be a real plus).

Piko already do a kit for the type of diner you describe.
or one can be bashed out of a LGB 4wh dinning coach as described on large scale com I think it is.
I would like something a little different and smaller as I don't want to take to much of the garden away SWMBO would not be pleased if I did.
