I am currntly rebuilding a couple of the GP38's in my collectionwith the new fan driven smoke units and "led" lights . The circut board for the smoke unit will only handle one of the new fan units not two as I originally wanted to install even though the board did run two of the older smoke units. It seems that the new smoke units don't get hot enough if I plug in two . I'm thinking of getting another board and using one board per smoke unit . What do you think? Also the new units have another plug to run the small motor for the fan . I pluged them into the main board where the lites would normally go but like the lights getting brighter as you advance the throttle the motor goes faster .I guess i'm asking has anyone out there done this modification and how did you do it ?
Mike Look on the makers web site, about board spec. if you replace board check that it will do all you want IE lights motor smoke ect, and how many amps you are going to pull through your power supply. Hope this helps

Each smoke unit needs it's own board.
Call Mike in parts at USAT and get him to get you one... I would stop experimenting because you might damage something.
