Welcoming a new addition to the family...
Posted by tangerine-jack on Friday, August 14, 2009 9:31 PM

I am pleased to announce that after a long and complicated pregnancy, and many days spent at the hospital, that my 2nd son, Russell, was born at 1:43 am on 11 Aug 09.  Baby is doing fine, he is happy and healthy, mom is doing better but still has health issues that need to be taken care of later.

I've been off the forum for a while, with the pregnancy complications, work and other factors I've done exactly zero gardening or railroading this year.  The yard looks like crap, the railroad worse- but it will give me something to do in the cooler weather.

Thanks all!  I'll get a photo up soon.  We've hardly any time to enjoy the new baby, with my wife in and out of the ER, and me trying to work, plus some family hardships on top of that, it's been a truly difficult time.  You know it's bad when the ER doctors see us so much they tell us to "call ahead" and they will have the paperwork ready when we get there.
