The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.
Yes. I use GE Silicon II silicon caulk to hold down my track to my concrete roadbed. Fill in a tie every 8 inches or so and place it where you want it. I put 2 or 3 bricks on top of it to help hold it in place. Don't mess with it for 24 hours then pick up the bricks and lay some more. I have had track in place this way for over 5 years without any problems.
By the way the laytex i have is for concrete patching
Probably, but silicone would be my choice too.

I'm with you. If I ever again do another outdoor railroad it will be built where the tracks are at least waist high. Thinking on those lines I'd have to put the buildings and people up to the same height.
Guess I'd have to build it all like I was building a table top railroad indoors with walk way in the middle.
Every time I get down on my knees I have a hard time getting up. Thats not to even mention the pain. If anyone saw me putting on my socks and shoes they'd really have a good laugh. It would make a good five minute video
