Building brick molds?
Posted by Sir Simon on Monday, January 26, 2009 4:31 PM

Creating my outdoor structures i.e Houses, station etc I have started to make the walls out of cement or plaster like they do at Beconscott Model Village http://www.bekonscot.com/ which is THE best model village in the world.

Some of the building are constructed in this way (Example below)  Beconscott building

I need to know if any one knows where I can get 'brick' molding for building models using cement or plaster from which would help me get the house brick effect to make it look like a real building.

 Would appreate your comments

Thank you and regards, Simon.

Try Precision Products

I used their brick sheets to make this yard office from some Magic Sculpt.

Bruce is right on. The article that discusses his technique from that photo will be in the April 2009 issue. You might want to check it out.
