Snow Plow
Posted by TrainsRock on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 9:16 PM
In the Feb '09 issue of Garden Railways it talks about a scratch built snowplow. I would like to build one but it didn't come with plans if anyone has some I would appreciate them.

That's because his palns came from the Colorado RR Museum as stated in the artical.

 Hi Trainsrock,

If you go here http://www.sidestreet.info/railways/plans.html, look at plan #3 (click on the link to see some photos of the finished plow).  You can't buy the plans separate BUT you can buy the back issue they were in (August 1992) from Kalmbach.

Call 800-533-6644 to order one. When you order, tell them to CHECK THE INSIDE to make sure the plan is inside. With older issues, sometimes the plans weren't bound in very well and they could fall out.

Well I drew a 1:20 plan of the side up from the pictures in the article.  I could send it to you.
