Bachmann Loconotive outdoors?
Posted by a67rs327 on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 7:03 PM

Being new to garden railroading, I'm not sure on this, but weather permitting can a Bachmann Locomotive be used in an outdoor garden RR?? Will greatly appreciate your thoughts and comments.

Hi, from West Texas, YES we run our Bac. outside.  I have Big Haulers an Annie's and a 3 truck shay all on Airwire and battery.  Don't leave them out all time, just when I run usually on Saturdays.  I take most of my buildings in during the winter but still run trains if it's not too cold.

Sure you can. Its hard to find a logging line around that doesn't have a Bachmann Shay running on it -
