I never met the man, nor had I heard of him until I read today's paper.
He was one of us, and now his empire is to be auctioned.

How sad not to be able to locate his grandson. I am sure that's not uncommon but it is a shame to see the man's passion get sold off to strangers when you know that was never his intent.
It's a hard reminder - get that Will written and documented.
Wow. He only lived in 280 sq ft. It said the room he rented for his trains was larger than that.
Apparently a 10 year old girl asked "Dad, did they him?" His family has been found. His empire remains in the family, at least for now.

Seems "county workers" didn't do the job they could have to find his family. Typical gubment morons.
Just goes to show that you can't take it with you. Play with your toys while you're here.

All those trains, stored and boxed, dragon and the horde situation, glad they found the family, sounded like the locals were in a big hurry to cash in them before anyone could object..
Have fun with your trains
that sucks... he sounds like me too, I would hate to see my stuff go up at auction and end up on ebay...
I read the part where his family found out hope the rest do dude from the train shop said he was coming there with relatives i bet that was them grand kids from one of the other marriages
