How do I sincoronize my engin's speed so all run at the same speed? I have 4 A's and 3 B's, I don't plan more then 2 set's of ABA at a time with the last B unit behind a GP-9.

The only way that I know is converting to DCC. I'm sure there's another way, though.

Hi Dave the only safe way is DCC nt two motors will run at the same speed thats because the winds are never the same. Over time with wear and tear they will run at differant speeds. My 2 cents

Hi Dave, I have a USA F3 A&B set, 4 GP7 (USA GP9) and a Aristo U25 that a I run in various combintations together, always at least paired, with no problems. When I was with a HO module club we found that if running two or more uncoupled units and they maintain close to the same spacing they mu ok.

Have fun, Rob

How do you know they run different?

By spacing them and using track power?

I've seen shows where the motors are computer wound and all the same. If they are from the same company I don't worry about it. Once they start pulling the load they will work together anyway.

I run lash ups of 3 or 4 and don't see a problem.

I don't think its worth worry about.

personally.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

SAY Dave,

I do run multiples of those, and other USA engines, together all the time, upwards of 4 or more at a time. Right out of the box on direct track power.

Do-not however, try and lash them up with other manufactued models, that is where a sync problem arrises, unless you do plan to use some type of R/C control.

I, at present, do personally use Loco-Linc myself, and I do plan to try and run Aristo, as well as some USA engines, linked up, but as yet, I have not R/C'd any of my USA units, to try that with this type R/C system.

My concern is, I will be running two A units with one Aristo smoth side coach ( My Bullet - A-coach-A ) thru a 9ft diamiter loop over 2 switch's. The coach like's to derail on the cruved sections of the switch's when pushed. I have 1 10ft dia. and 1 # 6 switch in this block. I have NOT tryed to run the Bullet since only one of it's A units are here. Thank's for all the input.
