New forum updates in Community Assistance section
Posted by Bergie on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 4:28 PM

Good afternoon,

First and foremost, thanks for your patience as we iron out some of the minor problems with the new forum. I’m confident we’ll be back to full steam shortly.

I just want to let you guys know that I will be posting updates to any forum problems and resolutions in the Community Assistance section of the forum. I just posted a sticky topic called “New Forum Problem Resolution Update 10/21/08” that covers some of the problems our developers fixed today.

To find the Community Assistance section, go to the very top level of the forums and scroll down to near the bottom of the page to the Trains.com Forums section. Community Assistance is in there.

As I get updates from our programmers on fixes that have been implemented, I will post them in that one section (so I don’t have to copy the updates through each magazine’s forum).

Thanks again,
Erik

Thank YALL for workin so hard on it, Erik. All we need to do is just give it time. All will be well. Thumbs Up    Some more smileys would be cool, too.

I, for one, appreciated all that you folks are doing to support our hobby, and the free exchange of information and ideas. Yes it took a bit to figure out the new system, there were a few bumps at first, but it seems to be working well now. Thanks
