My rail road with some new buildings .

Well, Ben, you are a lot farther along than I am. Just got the waterfall moved a few weeks ago, and finished up laying block the other day. Now have to build bridge across river gorge, then lay track and build a zillion trestle bents this winter for the return downhill. After all that, we can start plantings and scenery stuff.
Looking good Ben! With luck I may be able to come by and visit in the fall, my current job keeps me hopping around the country, so who knows when I'll breeze into town....
Bob's railroad is looking good. I stopped by and took a peek on my way to the Amtrak shops in Wilmington. Forgot my camera, but moving the waterfall back about 6ft made a huge improvement in the visual impact of the layout. Bob's done a lot of work, got a lot left to do as well! But who cares, these things are never really finished are they?

Glad to see your buildings "in the drit". I did not realize that you were this far into the layout. I guess that is what an old putz like me gets for trying to think. I notice you put a "foundation" under the C.S. buildings.
What did you use? and how did you attach it. I've put painted plexiglas floors.porches under my buildings. I got a stach of the C.S. corner braces and glued them to the building so I could use screws to attach the flooring, that way I can add furnishings later on.

the base of the buildings are 1x12 pine ,i got a 4 ft. long piece and cut it from their, then i painted it and used the same glue to glue the building , Wal-mart 4- $1.00 super glue it seems to be working ,it rained on it the other day and it's been hot some days , it's still holding . I'M not a young putz either . Ben
