We recently started construction of a crossover to allow switching from one main line to the other. It is now 95% complete. We used old track from our scrap pile and a couple of pieces from our garage storage line. We did purchase one new switch for the project. Great layout, the pictures are fantastic.
Make sense what you have done and are doing, it's a real pain if you have to fix derailments all the time. Good luck with the rest of it.
