Grandkids visit the In-ko-pah RR
Posted by Ray Dunakin on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 12:57 AM
Our son Steven and his three children came out from Texas to visit recently. The two girls, Shilo (8) and Serenity (6) arrived first by plane. About a week later Steven and Samuel (4) arrived by car.

The kids all loved the railroad. Samuel's eyes just about popped out of his head when he first saw it -- unlike the girls, he hadn't been here since I started construction.

We also took the girls to Disneyland, and all three kids to the San Diego Zoo. We rode trains at both attractions.

I just posted pics on my website. Here's a direct link to the page:

Ray:

Looks as though fun was had by all.  Thanks for sharing.  I'm looking forward to my first grandchild, in aboiut a year or so.  They decided to wait until son-in-law got out of the Marine Corps and got a good job.  He's out and has a real good job as a network systems operator.

Was your layout on the yesterday's NMRA tour ? If not they missed out !

They payed us a visit at the SD Model RR Museum as well as enjoying the "Toy Train Gallery" in the museum.
