where to find garden railroad
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, February 27, 2004 11:28 AM
I am intressed in seeing garden railroads. Are there any in NJ to visit? It looks like a great family hobbie.

Thanks

cindyjean,
post your enquiry over on http://www.mylargescale.com
There are literally 1000's of Garden Railway modellers there and lots of them on the right coast, and yup, even New Jersey. (Although we have recently lost a dear friend New Jersey George Lazyacre Thomas.... Rip, Jack...)

Hi Cindy,

I must have missed your question earlier. Yes, there's a garden railroad you can visit in New Jersey--the Railroad Garden at the Camden Children's Garden in Camden NJ. www.camdenchildrensgarden.org Trains run daily, but you might want to call to verify, 856-365-8733.

Depending on where you live in NJ you can contact the South Jersey Garden Railway society at: http://www.trainweb.org/sjgrs/index.htm

Or the North Jersey go to: http://home.att.net/~NAXTrans/grrnnj.htm
