I remember an article about making lanterns from beads and sequins, but can't find it in the handy PDF indices. Does anybody remember it?

I seem to recall an article by Jack Verducci about how he detailed the inside of a building. If I remember correctly he mentioned something about making lamps and light fixtures out of beads. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Na, this guy was stringing beads and sequins on wires to look like lanterns. Wonder where I might have seen it

Was he also using brass top and bottom? and the red bead in center with sequins on top and bottom.

I wandered the bead section of Michael's last night. A little super glue and red paint:

Maybe could have used a bigger sequin.

There is space inside for a gow bulb. Unfortunately, my stash of gow bulbs is in the missing parts cabinet (5 moves and 1 fire within 12 months). I'll stop at the hobbyshop.

I remember one about sequins and stuff but I think the topic was on how to build realistic telephone transitors?

anyone remember that one?

Spookytown, I am guessing you're referring to the article from Jan/Feb 1997. The author used craft-store beads there. That's the only one I know of.
