Running Pacific in the snow
Posted by pimanjc on Sunday, December 30, 2007 9:36 PM

Today, I installed a plow blade to the front truck of my Pacific.  Then it ran around the HedgeApple RioGram RR for about 2 1/2 hours.  Fun, Fun.  I ran it because I haven't seen many Pacifics running in the snow.

Still pictures will be posted tomorrow.

I hope you enjoy.

That's cool, but yer stuff's too clean. You need to bum it up some.

Robert,

I keep my passenger equipment clean, as most of the real stuff was while I was growing up.  My diesel freight locos and freight cars get weathered.  I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Most of the snow had been previously plowed by my SD45s w/'booseplow and FA/FBs running this same blade.  All the Pacific had to do was a bit of cleanup and have fun running.
