Looking to make a spark arrestor for my bachman 4-6-0... What should I use? I was thinking about using metal screen or somthing and painting it black

You need one of those horrible tea ball mashers that are so popular in the US... Cut out the required section of stainless steel mesh and fit!!!

Don't forget to buy a new one for your parrent, so they don't get too mad that you just cut up their kitchen utensils.
