Bachmann "Indy"
Posted by grandpopswalt on Monday, November 12, 2007 1:07 AM

Does anyone know of a source for the Bachmann "Indy" 2-6-0 loco? I see that neither Trainworld nor St. Aubin any longer advertises them.

Thanks

Walt

Unfortunately Walt, Bachmann stopped making the "Indy" and almost everyone sold out of them last year. Your best bet right now is to watch ebay for them. Also keep an eye on the classifieds on http:\\www.mylargescale.com or on http:\\www.largescalecentral.com.

Sorry I can't be more helpful but those places are about all I know of to find an "Indy" now.

True, the "Indy" is also a 2-6-0 Mogul, but it is not as big as that one.  This would be an "Indy":

That would be a 2-4-2 Columbian.  It is the same boiler however.

Walt, sorry but your going to be stuck with searching EvilBay.

These are now out of production and they're getting scarce unfortunatly. The use of this as a base for the Masterclass Porter 0-6-0 scratchbuilding project over at mylargescale hasn't helped avalability either.

   Have fun with your trains
