What are they like. Am thinking of getting some and havn't seen to much about them. They seem to be on a par price wise with the other 2 brands.

I have several of the Accucraft AML 1:29 scale PS-1 boxcars.
The cars level of detail falls somewhere in between those of Aristo-Craft and USAT. The cars track well and will couple with most other manufacturer's cars except the Aristo-Craft couplers. The AML cars are free rolling and do not have excessive side bearing. Graphics are clear and crisp.
This car is made by Accucraft AML for Art Knapp's Canada G Scale Trains line of cars. The AML and Art Knapp cars have either Youngstown or Superior doors depending on road name selected.
I'm well pleased with these cars. Mine have been in service since last spring.

Thank you. I take it that you leave the couplers on. I presume they will take a body mount KD coupler.
Gabby,
Yes, I use truck mounted couplers on all rolling stock except, obviously, that equipment with link and pin.
Have little if any experience with Kadee couplers. There is a mounting pad on the AML cars.
This is the coupler box and coupler supplied by AML for body mounting. I understand that a Kadee coupler will fit this coupler box. Or a Kadee coupler box and coupler can be mounted.
Thanks JD. Going off the photos those boxes are similar to the KD ones, if so they should take body mount KD couplers. Thanks for your help.
