Why use Kadee at all, the ones i have seen are nothing but trouble.

Rgds Ian
Dear Ian,

Our experience has been that most experienced modelers in any scale sooner or later end up with Kadee couplers or one of the look-a-like copies.

The reasons are very simple: they are very reliable, offer a wide assortment of different styles in most of the scales, look good and, if properly installed in the first instance, need practically no maintenance to give years and years and years of flawless service.

However if one has substandard trackwork, doesn't know how to install them properly, doesn't adhere to what Kadee recommends or knows how to adapt the recommendations to one's own situation.........then there could be problems. But in our experience that is the same with any product! The best product in the hands of slip-shod users can be a disaster .. by no fault of the product!

Best regards

ER
