The ones with the little diamond panes set in lead that make up the window

Also where these used at one time for shop windows or where they 1' or there abouts pieces of glass in a wood frame.

Hi John,  I dont think there are any plans for that sort of thing, you could try a full sized pane and lead paint it in diamond shapes.     Some thing you may be able to help my with we will be in OZ 13/09/07 to 2/10/07 traveling from sydney to cains by train stopping of at differant places. Do you know any one in sydney that runs G scale that I might be able to vist?

Hi Two Tone

SWMBO suggested a crafty type fabric that's got loads of square holes in it might do for the lead bit of the windows.

So I will try both ideas and see which works best for me.

While in Sydney If you have time go to the power house museum They have the first train that ran in Sydney.

I don't have all the skills needed but it would make a real nice model if enough info can be found to build one.

Just for starters I dont know how to do a scum ball paint finish which apparently replicates teak quite well in spite of it only being paint.

regards John
