My Clarkson Open House PICTURES!!! (FIXED!!!)
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, December 26, 2003 1:23 AM
Well after observing a post on the model railroader forum I decided to give some photo's a try[;)]. These pics are from a recent open house at the Clarkson's place. Here they are[:)][:D][8D][:p][;)]:

The photo above is Rodger Clarkson's new Rio Grande Hudson passing a K-28

This photo is of three trains of the UP. He had a USA Trains F3 ABBA pulling the new USA Streamliners, a LGB Mikado pulling some Aristo heavyweights, and a bachmann 2-8-0 pulling some old USA cars.

The picture above is a LGB F7 going across a trestle.

Marty should like the next few photo's. Here a set of Aristo SD45's pass the UP Streamliner.

This is the same train passing a beautiful bridge.

This is my favorite pic[:D][:)][8D]. It is the SD45's on a great trestle.

Hey Pablo,

That doesn't work.

Try doing an URL for each individual picture.[:)]

No Marty! Like this:

unless you tell the software that it is an image you'll be SOL and while you can click on the URL the picture will still not display.
Remember this is a Snitz forum, so the routines work the same as on MLS.

Tim,

You'll have to ask Marty for more pictures. All I did was correct the code so that the picture shows up.[;)]

Your alright,,,most of the time[;)] But I remember tring the two ways to make them come up and at the time it did not.
Tim: I'm not done with them yet but they are simple PVC 4" caps and couplic from a farm supply store.

The single tank is 3" PVC that had a dome like cap which I can not always find. I also built a 3 tank propane unit but cutting just the end off the cap was a trick with the table saw so I then could glue it onto 3" X 20 " pipe to make tanks. The tall thin unit is 1.5" caps and joiners also. On the ground is 1/2" pvc water pipe mitered so the pipes can go into the ground. I don't like the looks of the thick elbows used to make 90 degree angels. I have about $25 in it so far. Plus the cat walk/ ladder is Aristo's off my old stock cars which I took parts from beings I don't run stock cars any more.[^]

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Marty,[}:)][:)]

I admit I have my moments, like everyone. OTOH I very seldom throw a snitching fit and most certainly not on any forum. [;)][;)][8D]

There's a simple reason for that: other's are better at looking foolish.[;)][:D][:D]
