Good morning all,

Quiet day at work.  Watched some more Hill Street Blues.  Tried to watch LEGO show.  Too many gimmicks, not enough actual ideas one could use.   Weather cold but dry.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mornin' boys.  Winter not done yet; thin covering of snohizo and flurries along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  The wind makes it feel colder.  Think I'll hunker in the bunker today.

Did run trains last night after cleaning up the AF line.  My 4-4-0 Washington and freight glided over the newly ballasted section.  No pile-ups.

Banks - I have every intention of attending the Blair County show next weekend, with my crew guys.  Probably won't arrive 'til 1100.

Shakeys Pizza here has Bunch of Lunch from 11 to 2 $9.84 for senors, all you can eat. The pizza is fresh but I try to eat heart healthy so I really look at what I take. Mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, chicken, salid bar, beets, brokuli, and olivies is what I took. They have other stuff too.

Wish I could be there. I'm gonna be in Lancaster enjoying the Oak Ridge Boys. Planning to see you at the Cumberland show. It's the 1st Saturday in May isn't it?

Are you looking for black ties for O guage track?

Banks - The Allegany Fairgrounds show is May 9th.  I'm looking for dark stained wooden ties, in S scale, for American Flyer track.  Maybe a certain Holy Man in Ohio may be whipping up a batch in the future.

Evening folks!

Sunny day today, started out below freezing and zoomed to 64/65!

SJ - yes, days are getting longer!

Took daughter to rental car place at Dallas Love Field for a weekend trip rental. Drove past the hardest hit areas from Nov's tornado. What a mess still! By the time it hit our neighborhood it was only a couple neighborhood streets wide, but west of here it was maybe a mile/half mile wide where it started. Some very large expensive homes reduced to shells in addition to townhomes, apt complexes, and a couple shopping centers leveled and two very large Dallas schools trashed. Very stark how many people were displaced. Obvious it is going to take years to rebuild the area.

Welcome Fiatfan!

Regards, Roy

Morning all

50* presently, going to 55* today. Need to take some pics of a couple things. ( Lionels weight system in a few of there NW2, never seen it before, my UP 635 has weights and you tell it was a factory job, moulded in spots for the screws that hold them in place. ) Other pics also.

Then back to doing loop #3, so this will be interesting lol. No problem there thou. Waiting for some more white label tape to come in so I can label what I have for loop #2 before I will start dropping wires for loop #3. Getting low on 16 gauge wire but do have some 14 gauge speaker wire, so may end up using it. I'm soldering wires to the track connectors anyway, so I don't really need to get all the strands in the opening for the wire. Need to cut and make a new platform for my switch controllers and any thing else I will need to control. Also need to clean up the wires to the switch controllers as right now its a mass of wires. Need to do it now than try later.

I have a ZW I need to work on, as it has power to B-C-& D but not A so must have a loos wire somewhere. Otherwise it looks good to go. ( it will end up being one of my back-up transformers. ) I also need to get to a auto store and get the inline fuse holder and fuse chief was talking about.

Hope all have a good day

Mornin' boys.  Cloudy and 18 (woof) along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  On the Flyer (1:1 scale) today.  Had cabin fever yesterday, so Wifey and I had brunch at Cracker Barrel, picked up a herb garden planter at Lowe's, and lucked into a Spring floral sale at JoAnn's.  Spent a couple hours in train room, building deck planking, and staining some rock work.

Mornin' all!

Bad night of sleep last night, but it's of my own making. Worked chest and back Thursday night at the gym, shoulders and arms last night. Of course my shoulder was aching a bit, but that was to be expected. Unfortunately my lower back was also hurting significantly, so during the night as I'm shifting to try to get comfortable, that aggravates my shoulder. Ugh. Got up several times to take Advil and do some light exercises to loosen my shoulder and relieve my lower back. Damn I'm getting old, do you realize I turn 29 again shortly in March?

So I'm off to the hair stylist with Tyler: he's got his Junior Formal this Friday. And he's got a girlfriend he's going to it with. It's great seeing high school kids doing high school things that don't revolve around video games and social media. He also turns 17 on March 3rd, but hasn't gotten his driving permit yet. He's going though that now.

Well the Christmas train boards come down this weekend so Linda can get her living room back. Corey and I will run the trains today and maybe tomorrow before it all comes down.

Anyway, about to head out.

Have a good one!

looking forward to it. Hopefully get a train fix at the Train Station in Strasburg next Sunday.

Hello there,
At a Twirling competition, 1st one this year. So far Granddaughter got 1st group, 1st duet and 2nd solo. Mrs is hacking and coughing so she's at home.
Spent Thursday and Friday on Fish Fry. Last night started strong but fizzled early. I think the count was around 620.

 Back to the bathroom tomorrow.

Later
Prayers for those in need.
