Using the SC-2 momentary capabilities it should work.  I have three SC-2s on my layout and they do work if programmed correctly.  There used to be a TMCC instruction manual that should how to wire several accessories for SC-2.  It may be somewhere on line.

I have several GarGraves operating and uncoupling tracks. Can I control them with the lionel SC-2 and the CAB-1 on my TMCC?
